Surf City Nights- It's a weekly street fair with a farmer's market, live entertainment, food vendors and arts & crafts. Come join the fun. Time: 5-9 p.m. Cost: Free. Location: 200 Main St., Huntington Beach (located on Main Street between Pacific Coast Highway and Orange Ave. Temporary street closure goes in effect on day of event so read signs to avoid having car towed from market area!)

Shipley Nature Center - Open to the public, it includes an interpretive center with educational exhibits, nature trails for wildlife viewing and native gardens. Shipley Nature Center is an 18-acre natural area open daily M-Sat 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Phone: 714-842-4772
