September 17, 2010 Summer City Surf Contest - The 41st Annual Huntington Beach City Surfing Championship include  free style divisions for Super Masters, Grand Masters, Seniors, Masters, Men, Juniors, Boys, Women and Menehune. Winners will receive trophies. Driver’s license or school ID with proof of age (birth certificate) must be presented before competing. Ages are as of contest date.  August 27 is the last day to sign up. Each participant will receive a T-shirt with a special surf logo. Participation limited to first 175 registrants. Fee: $30 South Side of Pier.  Time: 6:00am-4:00pm. Cost: $30. Register: hbsands.org or Community Services Dept., 2000 Main, HB, CA

Summer City Surf Contest The 41st Annual Huntington Beach City Surfing Championship, sponsored by Huntington Surf and Sport and Dukes, will be held on September 17 and 18. Participation will be limited to persons residing in the Huntington Beach Union High School District. There will be free style divisions for Super Masters, Grand Masters, Seniors, Masters, Men, Juniors, Boys, Women and Menehune. Winners will receive beautiful trophies. Driver’s license or school ID with proof of age (birth certificate) must be presented before competing. Ages are as of contest date.
