Eat Crab, Bread, Salad and Chowder at an event sponsored by Huntington Beach
Host Lions Club to raise money for sight and hearing programs and Canine
Companions for Independence. Live Entertainment, Silent Auctions and
Hawaiian Opportunity Drawing, plus No-Host Bar will make this an evening of

April 10, 2005 Surfing Competition - HB
Surf Series Surfing Competition. The HB Surf Series will hold four of six
events at the most visible surf venue in the world, the famous Southside of
Huntington Beach Pier. Nine divisions comprise the events and include: Super
Grom, Boys, Juniors, Men, Masters, Super Men, Women, Longboard, and
Professional. World class surfers Jeff and Barry Deffenbaugh created this
event, providing an opportunity for surfing in categories for groms, masters
and longboard. The 2005 series features six events with a combined cash
purse and prize packages of over $20,000. Time: 8 a.m. Location: Huntington

and Jack McCoy - Fair Bits is a collection of surfing stories tied together
by loose dreams and possibilities which captures some of this blue planet's
best surfers. With the experience and passion of the Malloy Brothers coupled
with the surfing talents of Taj Burrow, arguably the most creative surfer of
our time, FAIR BITS is a surfing film not to be missed on the big screen.

April 10, 2005 Band - Brad Wilson
is Rockin' the Blues at Mother's Tavern. Wilson, the
singer/songwriter/guitarist's new self-titled solo CD has recently been
released. For the last seven years, he fronted the blues rock band, STONE.
Brad's music has been featured in John Carpenter's last two films and
soundtracks, Vampires and Ghosts Of Mars. His song "Teaser," from Vampires,
which BMG Records in Europe released as a single, was not only as the first
cut on the soundtrack, but the only song on the record with vocals. The
record won a Saturn Award that year for Best Music. Time: 2 to 6 p.m.
