weekly on Friday from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays
at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified
Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables,
breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in conjunction with
the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling unique, hand made gifts

March 11, 2005 Play - Les Liaisons Dangereuses by
Christopher Hampton - A wicked game of conquest is underway. Anything
goes when a predatory, wealthy widow challenges a notorious rake to seduce a

helplessly into a fatal attraction. A smash hit on the London and Broadway
stages, and the basis for the Academy Award winning film, Dangerous

March 11, 2005 Play - The Second Time Around, a comedy
by Henry Denker is the story of an older couple who
strike up a love affair and decide to live together so that they can keep
social security benefits they would otherwise lose. Their children hit the
ceiling when they find out. The
play is presented by Huntington Beach Playhouse at Huntington Beach Library
and Cultural Center Theater, 7111 Talbert Avenue, Huntington Beach,

March 11, 2005 Musical Play - Evita will be performed by the
student cast of Huntington Beach's Academy for Performing Arts. Evita was a
Broadway success that also was made into a film starring Madonna. It is
based on the life Argentina's Eva Peron, a girl from a small town who moves
to Buenos Aires and becomes the wife of General Juan Peron. When Peron is
elected president, Eva becomes the most powerful woman in South America.
