March 11, 2008 Surf City Nights - Now one year in existence, this street closure event includes an entertainment line-up, street artists and free parking in downtown Huntington Beach. Entertainment includes John (about 12) who will be spinning records and cd's; young women belly dancing (family friendly, of course,) hip-hop jazz band, The Lowery Brothers in front of 301; Sean and John, the tap dancers will be back (fingers crossed); and of course, the guitar gods Seis Cuerdas. March 11, 2008 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
