March 13, 2005 Play - Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Christopher Hampton - A wicked game of conquest is underway. March 13, 2005 Musical Play - Evita will be performed by the student cast of Huntington Beach's Academy for Performing Arts. Evita was a Broadway success that also was made into a film starring Madonna. It is based on the life Argentina's Eva Peron, a girl from a small town who moves to Buenos Aires and becomes the wife of General Juan Peron. March 13, 2005 Band - Brad Wilson is Rockin' the Blues at Mother's Tavern. Wilson, the singer/songwriter/guitarist's new self-titled solo CD has recently been released. For the last seven years, he fronted the blues rock band, STONE. Brad's music has been featured in John Carpenter's last two films and soundtracks, Vampires and Ghosts Of Mars. His song "Teaser," from Vampires, which BMG Records in Europe released as a single, was not only as the first cut on the soundtrack, but the only song on the record with vocals.
