August 3, 2006  Adventure Playground - Offers old-fashioned fun for kids ages 6 - 12. Build a fort with lumber, ride a raft on the pond, jump in the mud, navigate a rope bridge, and learn how to play in nature.  Children must wear tennis shoes and be prepared to get dirty. August 3, 2006  Surf Exhibit - Surfin' - Direction of a Sport, documents the development of fins in a rare collection that not only shows the original invention, but its numerous size and shape modifications through a 71-year period  beginning in 1935.
