August 3, 2007  Adventure Playground - Offers old-fashioned fun for kids ages 6 - 12. Build a fort with lumber, ride a raft on the pond, jump in the mud, navigate a rope bridge, and learn how to play in nature.  Children must wear tennis shoes and be prepared to get dirty. August 3, 2007  Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. August 3, 2007   Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail.  No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Photos
