September 10, 2006 Surf Music Concert - Vindicators with Lead guitarist Steve Tondre, winner of the 2005 Warner Grand Theater Battle of the Bands, formerly with the Sound Waves. September 10, 2006 Interfaith Council Pier Celebration - Walking Together, A Community in Harmony is an annual gathering to promote peace and diversity. The event is presented by a variety of religious and civic leaders focused on peace, harmony and unity and in remembrance of the fifth anniversary of the Tragedy of 9/11. The event features inspirational music of Daniel Nahmod, The Ann Peters Ensemble, The Cliffords and bagpipe led procession, plus the International Peace Flame presentation.
