August 1, 2007  Adventure Playground - Offers old-fashioned fun for kids ages 6 - 12. Build a fort with lumber, ride a raft on the pond, jump in the mud, navigate a rope bridge, and learn how to play in nature.  Children must wear tennis shoes and be prepared to get dirty. August 1, 2007  Disc Frisbee Golf Weekly Amateur League Play - The public is invited to get out and compete in this exciting sport that's relaxing and easy to learn. August 1, 2007  Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail.  No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Photos
