- The Rose Center Theater/TNT Productions
Professional Series are proud to present the
daring, sophisticated musical of love and
life, COMPANY, on August 1-3, 2008. COMPANY,
a modern day musical set in 1970's New York
City, follows our hero, Bobby, as his
friends advise him on love and relationships
including the three girls he is currently
dating. Featuring outstanding and
challenging music by Stephen Sondheim, this
show was "one of the most stunning musicals
to hit New York in years!" Directed by Tim
Nelson with choreography by Diane Makas, the
stellar cast features some of Orange
County’s finest singers and dancers with
Alex Bartosch as ‘Bobby’ – Chris Caputo,
Melissa Cook, Katie Dixon, A.J. Gutierrez,
Dale Jones, Abbe Loomer, Mary Murphy-Nelson,

Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's
significant flyways for migrating birds.
Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views
of these soaring creatures. Location:

Warner on the east side of the highway.
Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail.
No pets or bikes permitted on the trails.

Art Exhibit - Milford Zornes, N.A., American
Artist. Honoring the works of one of
America's esteemed artists, oil paintings
that have never been exhibited until now are
featured in the rare collection of art by
Zornes, who passed away in February after
reaching 100 years of age.
Anderson Art Gallery is the
top dealer of Zornes art. The gallery
features fine arts exhibits with a
collection of watercolors, oils and
sculptures and mixed media from renown

New exhibition- Surfing Sounds
Part II: Jan & Dean. This new exhibit
explores the relationship and affect surfing
music has on the surfing culture and pop
culture, as well. It will feature original
art by Huntington Beach resident,
Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean, and will include memorabilia from the
band's decade-long rise to fame with songs
that topped the charts with 28 hits:
Deadman's Curve, Little Old Lady from
Pasadena, Surf City and that actually
continues today with concert tours. (Note:
Jan Berry passed away in March 2004.) In
addition to this exhibition, Celine Chat
will present abstracts.

Johnson, Lucrecia Troncoso and P. Williams.
are three creators who explore and
investigate the sprawling environment and
the constant development of concrete
encroaching on natural spaces. Everyday
materials such as cardboard, wood, paper and
sponge are used in the creation of the
artists’ ideal utopias. Event runs through
August 31, 2008.
