December 12, 2007  Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail.  No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

 

December 12, 2007  Disc Frisbee Golf  - The public is invited to get out and compete in this exciting sport that's relaxing and easy to learn. Location: Huntington Beach Disc Golf Course, Central Park lot off Golden West Street between Talbert and Ellis. Time: Daily. Call: (714) 425-9931.

 

December 12, 2007 The Nutcracker Ballet - Ballet Etudes Dance Academy annual performance at Huntington Beach Central Library Theater. December 12, 2007  Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library on the first floor features works from amateur and professional artists with varied themes that range from landscapes to abstracts. December 12, 2007  Snowflakes light up the Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street through New Year's Day. Dozens of artificial snowflakes strewn with twinkling lights adorn light downtown Huntington Beach. They are a delight to see. There are on the pier and stretch along Main Street from Pacific Coast Highway to Orange Avenue. Traditionally placed along Main Street and the Huntington Beach Pier, they are truly beautiful displays of holiday spirit in Huntington Beach.
