December 14, 2007 Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held
weekly on Friday from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays
at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified
Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables,
breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in conjunction with
the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling unique, hand made gifts

December 14, 2007 Ballroom Dance - Rodgers Seniors' Center hosts
this monthly event. Adults are invited to attend the Huntington Beach
Council on Aging Ballroom Dance. Each event features live music, snacks and
beverages. Focus is on classics and swing. Time: 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Cost:

December 14, 2007 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the
curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of
the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars
to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific
Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway.
Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes
permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

December 14, 2007 Musical - 1940's Radio Hour presented by the Huntington
Beach Academy for Performing Arts at Huntington Beach High School. This
holiday musical will be presented in Westminster during the renovation of

Snowflakes light
up the Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street through New
Year's Day. Dozens of artificial snowflakes strewn with twinkling
lights adorn light downtown Huntington Beach. They are a delight to see.
There are on the pier and stretch along Main Street from Pacific
Coast Highway to Orange Avenue. Traditionally placed along Main Street and
the Huntington Beach Pier, they are truly beautiful displays of holiday
spirit in Huntington Beach. Watch the twinkling lights reflect on the
Pacific Ocean waters below.

traditional, delightful Christmas Ballet is presented in its original,

December 14, 2007 Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central
Library on the first floor features works from amateur and professional
artists with varied themes that range from landscapes to abstracts. This

includes an interpretive center with educational exhibits, nature trails for

December 14, 2007 Art Exhibit - Huntington Beach artist Howard Hitchcock is
featured in Transitions, premiering new paintings and sculptures. Known for
his futuristic visions, Hitchcock has been recognized as a leader in the art
world. His work will be on display at Anderson Art Gallery through December

December 14, 2007 Holiday Drop 'N' Shop. Kids
can be taken to American Tiger Martial Arts and Fitness center located
at 5489 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, CA, to allow parents to run errands
and shop for Christmas. Activities include games, crafts, building
forts and campfire songs. A snack will be provided, plus a pro pass
good for a martial arts uniform and complimentary month of classes. Time: 6
to 10 p.m. Cost: $15/first child, $10 additional per family. Sponsored by
Senior Girl Scout Troop 1129, proceeds will go towards a Girl Scout trip to
