October 31, 2007  Disc Frisbee Golf  - The public is invited to get out and compete in this exciting sport that's relaxing and easy to learn. Location: Huntington Beach Disc Golf Course, Central Park lot off Golden West Street between Talbert and Ellis. Time: Daily. Call: (714) 425-9931. Hotels nearby are located within just a mile or two on Beach Boulevard and include Howard Johnson and Best Western. This largely residential / commercial area that surround the Disc Golf Course does not offer hotel accommodations.

October 31, 2007  Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library on the first floor features works from amateur and professional artists with varied themes that range from landscapes to abstracts. This mixed media exhibit is free to see. Location: 7111 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach, CA. 

October 31, 2007  Bingo - Elks Bingo BPOE Lodge 1959. Door opens at 10 a.m. Early bird 11 a.m. Regular 11:30 a.m. Free coffee, tea, and popcorn. Food and soft drinks available for purchase. Location: 7711 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach, California Call: (714) 848-9440.

October 31, 2007  Halloween on Main Street - an annual delight sponsored for over 12 years by the Huntington Beach Downtown BID. Location: Blocks 1 - 3 of Main Street. Time: 5 - 8 p.m. Cost: Free. Where to stay? There are several hotels within blocks of the Main Street Halloween event. Hilton, Hyatt and Best Western (closest) all offer great accommodations. For those adhering to the school night for kids, get a babysitter and enjoy the adult entertainment that begins on Main Street after 9 p.m. Several Halloween contests and parties will be held in places such as Longboard Pub, Hurricanes and Fred's Mexican Cantina.
