February 12, 2008 Beatles Classic Album Series VS. The Beach Boys Pet Sounds. It's a musical concert performed by the Huntington Beach High School's esteemed Academy for the Performing Arts. The Commercial Recording Arts Department of HBHS focuses on the 1965 album, Rubber Soul and the Brian Wilson masterpiece "Pet Sounds" in this concert that ties it all together. Unique! February 12, 2008  Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail.  No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.   

February 12, 2008  Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library on the first floor features works from amateur and professional artists with varied themes that range from landscapes to abstracts. February 12, 2008  Woman's Club 100th Anniversary. Woman’s Club Turns 100! The Woman’s Club of Huntington Beach celebrates its centennial with an Open House. Huntington Beach High School (HBHS) Bingo at the Beach is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing funding to clubs and organizations at Huntington Beach High School, with participation in Beach Bingo supporting athletic and scholastic activities for the students. Past examples include remodeling the weight lifting room, football helmets and equipment, uniforms and other items. Games are every Tuesday night.
