April 1, 2008 Surf City Nights - SCN is a Locals (and Tourists') Night to get out and experience downtown Huntington Beach There's a street closure, Farmer's Market and Craft Fair plus free live entertainment and 2 hours free parking in City-owned garage at Pier Promenade, 200 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA. April 1, 2008 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

April 1, 2008 Disc Frisbee Golf - The public is invited to get out and compete in this exciting sport that's relaxing and easy to learn. Location: Huntington Beach Disc Golf Course, Central Park lot off Golden West Street between Talbert and Ellis. Time: Daily. Call: (714) 425-9931.

FUND-RAISERS

April 1, 2008 Bingo at Huntington Beach High School, AKA Bingo at the Beach supports school athletic and other student programs and activities. Doors open at 5:15; early bird game at 6:15 p.m. $1/each card or $3/4 cards. Payouts for games $250 (all prices subject to change). The Main game starts at 7:00pm.
