HB BOARD & BIKE

When the Huntington Beach Youth Hostel was around (went out of business several years ago), their ads advertised to students around the globe: Got board?

The double entendre still holds today, even though the 100-year old hotel was closed permanently. In a city with hotels galore along the beach, you'll discover that it's all about "board". Surfboards, skateboards, body boards and of course, room & board. The photo shows a typical Huntington Beach scene looking from Pier Plaza toward Main Street.
