Easter Day 2008 was warm, with temperatures rising up to 84 degrees (it
reached 94 in nearby San Pedro). The beaches experienced sizeable traffic
because of the warm weather, and the roads also included plenty of traffic
as local residents and visitors sough things to do on a beautiful afternoon.
While the Midwest and East Coast experienced snow, Huntington Beach basked
in the glow of another pleasant Easter with weather out of this world!

March 23, 2008 Surfing Sounds Exhibit - Features the works
and memorabilia of The Beach Boys. Learn about this top-selling band

March 23, 2008 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the
curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of
the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars
to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific
Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway.
Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes
permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

award-winning Executive Chef Jeff Littlefield will prepare a family-friendly
