DOGTV Hosts K-9 Spring Fling & Easter Egg Hunt. DOGTV is hosting a K-9 Spring Fling & Easter Egg Hunt for their furry friends and adoring parents. Route 66 Gala - 66 continuous years of education is celebrated at Brethren Christian Junior & Senior High School with an amazing event. You’ll get your kicks with Classic cars, a Beauty Queen, the award-winning 8 O’clock Jazz Band and more at this annual fundraiser banquet. Even the menu has been designed to incorporate elements of the famed highway from Chicago to Malibu. Well-known local author, educator and dynamic lecturer, Sean McDowell, will be the featured guest speaker. The reigning Miss Seal Beach, Joy Knepper (a 2010 graduate of BCHS), is also be a part of the program. Joy’s great-grandparents were instrumental in the opening of the school in Seal Beach in 1947 and her grandmother is also a graduate.
