September 27, 2008 Oktoberfest Adults Only Night at Old World Village. German bands play both traditional and rock for dancing and partying. German foods and pretzel snacks are sold, plus a variety of German and assorted beers on tap. Mixed cocktails and liqueurs sold by the shot in vials by " shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts make this event a bit more grown-up than the Sunday Family Day Oktoberfest events. Unlike the more traditional Oktoberfests in Southern California, HB Fest takes on a Mardi Gras flair come Friday and Saturday night. Cover: $15.
