FARMERS MARKET FRESH

About this photo above:

Huntington Beach's Farmers Market has been in existence over a decade. Having move location several times, the newest spot at the parking lot of Pier Plaza has created a buzz that ranks this as many shoppers' favorite, most scenic place to shop in Orange County and Southern California.

This Certified California Famers Market requires participants to grow their fruits & vegetables in California. Thus you're not supposed to find produce that's been grown in other countries at this event.

Held most weeks throughout the year on Fridays from around Noon to 5 p.m., it's always best to go in the early afternoon, lest some items run out. The prices aren't necessarily less expensive on most fresh items, but the freshness is generally the draw of shopping here.
