March 20, 2009 Farmer's Market and Arts & Crafts - Buy certified California grown produce and shop for hand-made one-of-a-kind jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. Rugs in the shape of surfboards, surf themed wall decor and planter boxes, household gifts, original art and body products are usually featured by vendors selling their creations at this weekly event held at Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier. It is presented by the Alzheimer’s Family Services Center and is designed to enhance well-being with teacher David Hart. Among the bullet points for this lecture are • The importance of intellectual curiosity and lifelong learning; • The benefits of forming new friendships and social networks; • The sacredness of spirituality as a framework to provide meaning and hope in change and loss; • A wide array of information to promote the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and other
