March 8, 2009 3/1 Run Fundraiser for Marines. 2-Man Stampede is a team race in which participants must be tethered together with their own device (not to exceed 3 ft in length), like a bungee cord, etc. Teams will attempt to "Beat the Bull," a record-holding runner from Edison High School. Teams are encouraged to wear distinctive "costumes" (like bull horns/tails) to add to the fun of this crowd-pleasing event! Medals for the 2-Man Stampede will be awarded to 1st Place 2-Man Team, 1st Place 2-Woman Team and 1st Place Mixed Team (1 Male/1 Female) Medals for 5K: 1st Place Overall, Male & Female 1st, 2nd & 3rd in 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. March 8, 2009 Art Exhibit - HB's 100 YEARS Art Exhibit - The 100th Birthday of Huntington Beach is celebrated in a special gallery exhibit from Huntington Beach artist and gallery owner, Bill Anderson of Anderson Art Gallery. You are invited to the gallery to participate and view the exhibit. t and look at images from the 1960's through current times. Working in a variety of media, Anderson's works include linoleum block prints, water colors, oil paintings and drawings.HB's 100 Years.
