FARMERS MARKET FRIDAYS

About the photo above:

If it's Friday, expect to see the colorful tent tops fill Pier Plaza in the weekly Farmer's Market and Art A-Fair. Looking somewhat like the tent cities of nearly 100 years ago, this new tent city is only temporary. It is only for covering the produce and goods, and protecting vendors from the hot sun while they sell their wares.

This Friday beach event is one of hundreds of such produce events in California under the California Federation of Certified Farmers Markets.
