CHRISTMAS PARADE

Each year there's a small town parade in Huntington Beach that travels along Main Street to the Huntington Beach Pier where the lights are lit. There's no official holiday tree, and the pier lights are sponsored by those seeking to support the city's youth shelter, only one of two in Orange County, California.

The parade is filled with children and a band or two, plus Santa riding on a Huntington Beach fire truck.

The parade is usually held the first Saturday or Sunday in December. Read more about it on the right-hand column.
