A-Faire Held weekly on Friday from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held
most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a
certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and
vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in
conjunction with the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling

called Centered on the Center highlights multi-media exhibition of submitted
art, photography and sculpture, mixed media and videos in a non-juried
annual show of creative, original works that runs through February 20, 2005.

February 18, 2005 Surf Presentation and Movie - Surfer
Jesse Billauer from the non-profit organization "They Will Surf Again"
(www.liferollson.org) details how his life changed dramatically and suddenly
while surfing one morning. The competitive surfer was tossed off his board
and slammed into a sandbar, headfirst. Unable to move, he suffered a
complete spinal cord injury at the C-6 level. Jesse survived and has
lived as a quadriplegic for 9 years since
that fateful day in 1996. Though he may never regain use of his body
below the mid-chest area and has limited use of his arms and hands, he has
Surmounted incredible obstacles, graduating from college and even skydiving.
Jesse provides inspiration and support to others suffering from similar
sudden injuries. After he speaks, the surf movie entitled "Life" will be shown
(bring lawn chairs). This movie stars Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, and Jesse Billauer
as well as many more. There will be a raffle for a new surfboard as well as
many other prizes. All proceeds will be donated to "They Will Surf
Again". Event

February 18, 2005 Micareta Carnaval Party "Carnaval
after Carnaval" is a 3-day event through February 20 featuring Brazilian
Samba, Axe and Pop Brasil Bands in a night of live performances that include
music, exotic Brazilian dancers, Brazilian Bikini Show, a death-defying
Martial arts exhibition of Capoeira and a harem of women in tantalizing
Carnival wear. Samba Explosion will include DJs spinning Brazilian
dance music for Samba, Axe, Pagode, Salsa, Merengue and more. Bands
performing include Badaue, Tribaland, Brazilidade, Unidos da California
Samba School and Banda Balaio. Opening night includes a bonus Premiere Party

Wilson, the singer/songwriter/guitarist's new self-titled solo CD has
recently been released. For the last seven years, he fronted the blues rock
band, STONE. Brad's music has been featured in John Carpenter's last two
films and soundtracks, Vampires and Ghosts Of Mars. His song "Teaser," from
Vampires, which BMG Records in Europe released as a single, was not only as
the first cut on the soundtrack, but the only song on the record with
vocals. The record won a Saturn Award that year for Best Music. Time: 8
