PLAY CHESS WITH 'BUCKS

What started out as a few tables has ended up as a social encounter at Starbucks Coffee on the corner of Olive and Main Street in Huntington Beach. First it began with these metal chairs and tables outside. People love to socialize, people-watch, and even play chess.

Downtown Huntington Beach's Main Street isn't a bad place to experience the more esoteric cultural endeavors such as a game of chess. With ocean breezes, tourists, cute girls in bikinis, guys with surfboards, and adorable pets passing by, there's plenty to look at as you wait for your opponent to strategize. Check mate!
