The Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley, ClubHouse Theatre presents the musical “The Sound of Music.” Productions take place on 7, 13 & 14 at 7pm with matinee performances on February 7 & 14 at 2pm. February 7, 2009 Swindles BD Bash with Rap Artist Doll-E Girl. The public is invited to this rap, rock, hop, event at Martini Blues featuring special guest Doll-E Girl. February 7, 2009 Tour the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. From 9 to 10:30 a.m., docents of Amigos de Bolsa Chica organization provide free guided tours. Park at the south lot of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, across the street from the main entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach where tours begin on the walkbridge every 15 minutes. Exploring five areas of interest, each presentation includes history, birds, endangered species, ecology and restoration. This is a free tour on a first come, first served basis available to the public, including vacationers, students, small groups and local citizens. amigosdebolsachica.org

Fire rings are located north of the Huntington Beach Pier at Bolsa Chica State Beach on Pacific Coast Highway (between Warner Ave. & Seapoint St.) and south of the Huntington Beach Pier on PCH between 1st Street and Beach Blvd. at Huntington City Beach or between Beach Blvd. & Brookhurst Street at Huntington State Beach.
