ProBeach Volleyball Series National
Championships Sept. 21-23, 2012. Action
starts at 9 a.m. goes all weekend and
culminates in finals on Sunday. See some of
the best volleyball players in the nation!
This is the 7th and final stop on a national
Donut Derelicts car gathering with Hot Rods, Street
Cars, Woodies, Imports and a variety of restored vehicles at Adams and
Magnolia Ave. Parking is available in the Ace parking lot or Adams Avenue
Donut Shop with overflow parking extending to Drug Emporium lot across
Adams. Time 6 a.m., over by approx. 8:30 a.m. No phone number

September 22 Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum is open from 12pm (Noon) to
5pm daily. Suggested donation is $2/adult and $1/student. Location: 411

Oktoberfest at Old
World Village. Get out your lederhosen and learn the
Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest in Huntington Beach. The event includes
entertainment with German bands, dancing and tasty German foods. A variety
of German and assorted beers on tap are sold as well as mixed drinks and
liqueurs in shot glasses sold by "shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts.

Swap Meet in the Golden West
College parking lot includes New & Used Items, Fresh Produce, Records, Music

September 22 Wetlands viewing -The public is invited to visit the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, a significant flyway for migrating birds. Binoculars recommended. Location: Pacific
Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway.
1.5 mile loop trail and 300 acres of protected wetlands! Pets and bicycles are not
permitted on the trails. Open sunrise to dusk.
September 22 Art - Windows Gallery in
Huntington Beach Central Library on the first floor features works from
amateur and professional artists with varied themes that range from
landscapes to abstracts. This mixed media exhibit is free to see. Location:
7111 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach, CA.
September 22 Free fishing days - California Department of Fish & Game
allows you to fish today without a license. Size limits and bag limits still

Newland House Museum Tour - The historic Newland House is
features a museum and docent led tours from local historians who provide
information about the two-story Victorian home built in 1898. Location:
