September 16, 2005 Farmer's Market and Art
A-Faire Held weekly on Friday from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held
most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a
certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and
vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in
conjunction with the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling

September 16, 2005 Plein Air Festival - Painters will
be out and about (painter acceptance process has ended). Visitors can watch
them throughout the City of Huntington Beach. Daily September 10 -19. Free
to watch.

will focus on strategies to conserve land in Orange County for people to
enjoy as parks, recreation areas, natural places and sources of clean water

Oktoberfest at Old World Village.
Get out your lederhosen and learn the Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest in
Huntington Beach. The event includes entertainment with German bands,
dancing and tasty German foods. A variety of German and assorted beers on
tap are sold as well as mixed drinks and liqueurs in shot glasses sold by
"shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts. Location: 7561 Center Avenue #49,

Warbucks from Orange County Children's Theater in cooperation with The City
of Stanton. This magical sequel to Broadway’s favorite family musical begins
right where Annie left off. It’s Christmas Morning, 1933, and everyone in
Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks’ household is celebrating the billionaire’s adoption
of Annie, an orphan who charmed her way into his heart. However, their
celebration is short-lived when New York Child Welfare Commissioner Harriet
Doyle arrives. The commissioner declares that New York law does not allow a
single man to adopt a child. Warbucks has 60 days to find a wife and a
mother for Annie, or Annie goes back to the orphanage. Directed by Kathy
Busby, Musical Direction by Crystal Barron, Choreography by Tara Pitt.
Refreshments available before the show and at intermission. Time: 7:30 p.m.
