Oktoberfest at Old
World Village. Get out your lederhosen and learn the Chicken Dance at
Oktoberfest in Huntington Beach. The event includes entertainment with
German bands, dancing and tasty German foods. A variety of German and
assorted beers on tap are sold as well as mixed drinks and liqueurs in shot
glasses sold by "shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts. Location: 7561 Center
Avenue #49, Huntington Beach, California. Doors open around 6 p.m. Fee

September 30 Kinderfest - Live German Oom-Pah band
directly from Germany, Dachshund Races, Dance Group Performances, Diamond
Sisters Contortionist, BBQ Bratwurst, Chicken, Hamburgers, Pretzels, Apple
Strudel & More. Meet Dodo the Chicken and learn more about the Chicken
Dance. Jump in the Moon Bunce, Play Carnival Games, Pace Painting and
old-fashioned fun. Time 2 to 7:30 p.m. Admission: $5/adult, Kids 12 & under
